2011 Annual Show.
The annual show is held in the North Church Hall High Street Perth.
Saturday 13 August 2011
Open to the Public 12 noon - 4.30pm.

Staging Exhibits will be allowed between 7.00pm and 10.00pm on Friday evening prior to the show and on Saturday morning between 8.00am and 8.45am.
Judging commences at 9.00am and will be to the current B.F.S. Judges and Exhibitors Handbook and to the Rules and Conditions in this schedule.
Judging will be carried out by an accredited Judge.
Removal of Exhibits Exhibits may be removed between 4.30pm and 5.00pm after the show.
Awards will be presented to the successful exhibitors at 3.00pm on the day of the show.
Entries on the official form, obtainable on line or from the show secretary, will be accepted during staging hours.

Schedule and Definitions
Rules and Conditions.
1. Entries to classes 1 - 25 are confined to fully paid up members of Perth & District
Fuchsia Group.
2. Exhibitors should apply to the Show Secretary immediately on arrival at the show
for class and name cards. Class cards must be placed face downwards with the
Appropriate entry in each class, and name cards placed face upwards in front of
each entry.
3. All plants must be the property of the exhibitor and must have been in his or her care
or possession for at least three months prior to the show. This also applies to plants
from which blooms have been taken.
4. Plants must be shown in the final pots in which they have been grown and must not
be potted up or down for the purposes of exhibiting in the show.
5. An exhibit having a greater or lesser number of plants than that specified in the
schedule will be disqualified. All exhibits are shown at the exhibitor’s own risk.
6. No exhibitor may have more than one entry on any one class, unless otherwise
specified.
7. The judges will be at liberty to withhold any award if there is not a worthy exhibit.
8. Any protest must be made to the Show Secretary within one hour of the opening of
the show. Any such protest will be considered by those members of committee who
are present and available. Any committee member having an interest in the dispute,
or objection, cannot act. The committee have the power to declare any exhibits
disqualified if a protest is upheld. Their decision is final.
9. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken the Perth & District Fuchsia Group
Does not hold itself responsible for loss of, or damage to, exhibits before, during or
after the show. All exhibits are shown at the Exhibitors own risk.
10. No exhibit or class cards may be removed before the close of the show.
11. All exhibitors must conform to the rules re staging times etc.
12. Exhibits must be free of pests and diseases. Plants with obvious infestations will not
Be permitted in the show, and if found will be reported to the show organiser to
arrange there removal. N.B. Infestation means swarm or overrun with pests or eggs.
Plants with small amounts of pests or eggs will be down pointed. Plants with small
amounts of disease will also be down pointed, but in the case of RUST plants will be
Removed by the show organiser.
